Post-graduation, I hope to land a job in either the tech industry or oil and gas. I plan on starting in a position dealing with analytics, such as a supply chain analyst, and then seeing where I can work up to from there. I am proud of the diversity of our campus, located in my favorite city in the world. Just walking around campus, you're able to meet students from all different walks of life, and there's so much to learn from their experiences. In Bauer, I've met the most genuine, supportive, and hardworking people who are dedicated to their studies and the betterment of their communities. UH and Bauer have provided me with opportunities that I could never have even imagined -- socially, culturally, and academically. I cannot wait until I am able to give back.

I am an avid art lover, especially music. I have been a musician most of my life and play when time permits. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. When I'm not working, I hope to get involved with UH Finance/Supply Chain organizations.

I hope to work in the entertainment industry after graduating. I will be participating in the Disney College Program this fall 2018, so this will be my first step into a career in the entertainment industry. I would love to stay in the supply chain industry and possibly become a buyer one day.

On-campus: The career fair and the career mixers for each organization, especially HBSA. Also, the ELASP for transfers program which really helped me transition to the UH lifestyle. I also like going to the Starbucks at the student center and relaxing at the piano area in the student center to study or do homework.

I hope to continue my studies to attain my Master's degree in accounting. From there, I hope to obtain a job offer in the auditing field of accounting at KPMG--one of the top four accounting firms in the nation. That's the dream, but really working in the auditing field would be really great.

I can say that I go to a school where the faculty is heavily invested into the success of the students and I am treated as a person and not a number. I also feel like I am in a tight-knit community, despite UH being one of the largest public schools in Texas due to UH having such a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment. I really feel like I am getting a top notch education. Division 1 sports, access to thousands of different people, a tight-knit community, and a fantastic education all in one institution is hard to come by and I do not think is offered anywhere else. I am proud to be in Bauer specifically because I've so many awesome and smart people and it feels good to be a part of this community. Also, every student and alum I've met seems to look out for other Bauer students. Last but not least, Bauer cares about its students being the best of the best.

Cheerleading! I am currently on the University of Houston Cheerleading team and also a competitive cheerleading team, Prodigy Blacklight, that competes at Worlds.

The University of Houston is a very welcoming and supportive environment. Every class I have had through Bauer has been such an amazing experience. The professors are very personable and are always available to help and clarify any topics that you may need help with. Being at such a large school I was afraid I would get lost in the crowd, but being a part of Bauer has helped me gain personal relationships with my professors and academic advisors.

Further my education, and earn my MBA. Additionally, I would like to take classes and learn more about the fashion industry since that is a field I am very interested in. I hope to one day get a chance to travel the world and experience different cultures.

I enjoy reading, attempting to ice skate, and laser tag. Off campus you can find me on Stella Link Road volunteering with Houston Pets Alive, or working in my budding garden at sundown.

I am a born and raised Houstonian. Houston is my city and UH is my school. I am proud to be a UH Cougar and Bauer student not only because I am from here, but because of the developments being made at this school to produce the best of the best. This summer (2018), I am interning at Shell Oil Company and I am glad to see so many UH alumni and current students working in this great company and I expect many more to come in the future.

After graduation, I plan to work in the corporate world for a few years to financially support humanitarian causes I care about. I also intend to save up money and own a coffee shop (or a few) of my own.

Being Vice-President and co-founder of HIVE, which is a club on campus that focuses on entrepreneurship within UH and the Houston area.

Off campus, I love working on creative things like doodling, creating mandalas or patterns and photography. I like to walk around campus and observe people. I also like yoga and other fitness classes at the Recreation Center.

I am proud to be a UH Cougar because the Institution is a highly focused group of individuals constantly trying to make education fun as well as useful for the students. The University of Houston is one of the most diverse campuses in America. To be a part of this unique community and gain exposure to new diversities, is a privilege. However, also being a part of Bauer is a wonderful experience of its own. I enjoy partaking in campus organizations; I am currently part of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization and Enactus. Spending time in organizations has helped me develop soft skills such as communication and public speaking and has helped me create friendships with like-minded individuals. Enactus has helped me use my time efficiently by volunteering in the Yates High School mentorship program and allowing senior students prepare for college by helping them with application processes and budgeting for school. I am a soccer fanatic. I enjoy playing soccer in the intramural sports facilities on campus when not studying. I also enjoy tuning in to watch the English Premier League and the Liga MX during the weekends. I follow the Manchester Citizens and the Tigres de Monterrey.

After graduation, I would love to start working for a small or mid-sized business doing management accounting in the greater Houston greater area. While working, I would also want to finish the credits necessary to attempt the CPA exam. One of my lifelong accomplishments is to work in Mexico, and I believe CPA will allow me to do so.

Taking part in the Bauer experience by being the President of the Hispanic Business Student Association, expressing myself through artistic mediums such as painting and writing, and exploring the greatest city in the country: Houston!

While I am on campus, I really enjoy working out at the Recreation & Wellness Center almost every day because I am very passionate about it. Also, I love devoting my time to getting involved with my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, as we strive to improve our community through volunteering and advocating for unity. As for my off-campus activities, I love exploring downtown Houston to experience the culture that lies within city, shopping at the Galleria, eating at different food places and spending time with the people who are very important to me.

My favorite activities on and off campus consist of both eating and working out! I am currently a student athlete as well, so going to the athletic alumni center to work on my training or even using the facility is a blessing to me. So many amazing athletes such as Olympians, MLB , and NFL players have all used the same facilities as me and that's just mind blowing. Second thing would have to be the wide variety of food that the city of Houston has to offer! I often venture out to find the most unique hole in the wall, places to eat! There is always something to do whether it be on or off campus, and I've loved being a part of this university and city as a whole!

Back in high school, I will say, I wasn't the most spirited person at heart. But once I became a UH Cougar I thought, What’s not to be proud of?! The campus is beautiful both inside and out. The diversity that the campus holds is truly remarkable. The way everyone has their own spot and place to fit in, is what I love the most...everyone has a home! However, being part of Bauer, just makes that experience 10x better than ever before. I'm open to such great help and opportunities for not just my time being here as a student, but also as a young individual who's trying to take on the world and make their mark! Being part of one of the best business schools in the nation is a blessing in itself, but being part of Bauer and now being able to say that I'm a scholar...man oh man that's just unbelievable!

After graduation, I hope to apply and get accepted into the masters program here at Bauer as well! Furthering my education to the best of my abilities is my main priority. Graduation with a bachelors from Bauer is quite an accomplishment in itself, but if I can continue my experience here at Bauer, then I'm doing everything it takes!

Q. My favorite activities on or off campus are:

Going to the Rec Center to workout, playing basketball, intramural sports, and bowling. Off campus I love to volunteer at any community service events with my student orgs. I love the University of Houston tailgates, traditions, organizations, and all the events hosted by SPB.

It has provided me opportunities and skills to achieve my goal. I am proud to be a Bauer student because I worked hard going through difficult obstacles to get into the Bauer College of Business my freshman year. Being a Houston Cougar I found my passion to become an accountant.

Be employed by one of the Big Four accounting firms while continuing to pursue a masters and becoming a certified public accountant. My ultimate goal after I graduate is to take my mother on a trip to see the beautiful scenery all around the world because she worked hard her whole life as a single mother raising three children to give us a good education and a better life. My mom means everything to me and I will make her proud.

My favorite activities on campus are attending classes, meeting up with members of organizations such as Coog Radio, and walking around campus to soak in the atmosphere. Outside of the university, I really enjoy attending concerts, writing reviews and short stories, and jamming out in my garage with some friends.

I am proud to be a UH Cougar because this is where I was born and raised. A UH Cougar is much more than a student, but rather, it is a mindset of excellence, dedication, and passion. Who wouldn't be proud of this? I rank being a Bauer student as one of my greatest achievements as well. Bauer surrounds itself with wonderful students from all over the world that strive for the very best in business and academics, and I am consistently grateful and proud to call myself a Bauer student.

When graduation is said and done, I hope to find a career path that suits my skills and passions along with the expectations of an employer that find value in these skills and passions. Whether it be in commercial banking, music, or whatever fits the shoe, I will rise up to the challenges and tasks set before me to ensure success and happiness in my career, and thus myself.

My favorite activities include volunteering, trying different food places around Houston, spending time with my family and friends, dancing and crafting.

I'm proud because of the diversity and hard work that students put forward! We truly take pride in who we are. Bauer is one of the best business schools in Texas and they provide so many opportunities and resources for their students. They go above and beyond to make sure that we succeed.

Q. After I graduate, I hope to:

I hope to continue my education in graduate school and go into healthcare management. I would like to one day become a CFO and eventually a CEO. Aside from my education and career, I would like to travel all around the world and be able to give back to my community and students in need!

Serving as the Membership Director for HBSA and volunteering with the Houston community.

Continue my education to receive my Master's degree in Accounting through the PPA Program. I also intend to earn my CPA. Furthermore, I plan on returning as an alumni to help give back to the university.

My favorite activities on or off campus are being able to give back to the community by volunteering. Being a UH Coog, we are taught not only to be professional leaders but are mentored to become world leaders. The greatest satisfaction I get is when I am able to make an impact in the UH and Houston community. I was the President of the Indian Students Association for the year 2017-2018. This gave me the opportunity to not only develop my leadership skills, but also the opportunity to mentor 200+ members to become successful leaders and global citizens making an impact on our community. I am also a UH ambassador where I enjoy giving college tours and showing everyone how much I love UH and the great opportunities we are blessed with at our campus. It also lets me mentor, advice and make the incoming students feel comfortable at UH.

As a UH student, especially as a Bauer student, we get countless opportunities to network with a wide array of individuals and grow and develop as a leader. It holistically molds you into not only a successful professional leader, but as a global citizen.

Q. After I graduate, I hope to:

Move my way up the corporate ladder by entering into consulting where I can help provide strategic solutions and be there watch and help non-profits, small and large businesses grow. This will provide me great satisfaction and let me grow not only professionally, but also personally. I also plan to get an MBA after gaining work experience for a few years. In the latter part of my career, I want to become a Finance professor being able to make an impact on the next generation of college students and mentor them into becoming great leaders.

Q. My favorite activities on or off campus are:

I love outdoor activities like hiking, biking in the city, and paddle boarding! I'm always up to watch the sunset at the park. I also enjoy reading a good book in my free time. When I'm on campus, the Rec swimming pool is my go to!

I love the atmosphere and the students! I meet so many interesting people from different parts of the world at the University of Houston. Bauer has offered me so many amazing opportunities and the support system is unbeatable.

Work at my dream company while traveling the world! I'd love to one day start my own non-profit organization and help people in need.

While I am on campus, I enjoy finding new, quiet places to study at. I also like attending organization events with my friends. When I am off campus, I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with my family.

UH is the friendliest place to be; everyone is inclusive of one another regardless of any differences they might have. There is so much diversity on campus and that makes people more open-minded and loving towards each other! I am proud to be a Bauer student because of the endless opportunities for business students. There are so many resources that the faculty and staff offer to make sure each student is on the pathway towards success.

Work at a company where I can showcase my Bauer skills and improve efficiency of the business. I also hope to inspire and leave a positive impact on the lives I come across.

My favorite activities include reading, baking, and enjoying a nice conversation while sitting at the Cullen Fountain.

I am proud to be a Cougar because the University gives back to its students and has ample resources and programs to ensure our success after graduation. The Bauer College has created a positive learning environment and a culture of camaraderie among students and faculty.

I hope to graduate and have a full-time position at a mid-sized accounting firm. I plan to work my up to higher leadership positions within said firm.

While I'm on campus, I enjoy going to the Rec to work out with my friends, being an RA to my lovely residents, and attending the UH football games. While I'm off campus, I enjoy going shopping, trying new foods and going to the movies.

I aspire to become a successful Sports Marketing Director and assist youth in sports in the Greater Houston Area. I also hope to return to Bauer to give back so others can have the same amazing opportunities that I've obtained.

Watching early movie screens at the Student Center, studying at CBB, working out at the Rec, and shopping at the Galleria.

My school welcomed me with open arms. From day one, I was given the advice and resources necessary in achieving academic success. The people I have met through organizations inspire me every day. I have never felt so much pride in being a student. GO COOGS

Become a supply chain analyst for an innovative tech company.

My favorite thing to do on campus is explore the library because there are so many resources that are available to students. Off campus I love to volunteer at my church by being a part of the media team and working with kids.

After I graduate I hope to become a personal financial planner with a company like Morgan Stanley. Eventually, I hope to become self-employed and focus on educating low-income families on how to better manage their money.

Q. My favorite activities on or off campus are:

When I am on campus I love to relax and study by the Reflection Pool, visit the Blaffer Art Museum, chill with friends at Student Center South, and eat at the Satellite. Off campus, I love to go to spoken word events, arboretums, home decor shops, and concerts with friends and family.

Bauer is a family. Since I've joined Bauer I have witnessed the endless opportunities that the college has to offer along with the dozens of eager-to-help professors, advisors, and career counselors. Bauer is about being charismatic, driven, and entrepreneurial while giving back.

Become a Financial Advisor in the corporate finance world.

UH Sporting Events, volunteering, and student organizations (Finance Association).

As a first-generation student, I worked diligently to accomplish my goals. This distinguished honor represents an award to highlight my dedication to studying and striving for success. C.T. Bauer has given me so many opportunities to grow and shape who I am today.

Finish a Master's in Accounting, set up an investment portfolio, and work for one of the BIG 4 accounting firms.

Q. My favorite activities on or off campus are:

Because I work outside of school, I tend to participate in more activities on campus. I really enjoy being a part of Delta Sigma Pi, not only because it helps me develop professionally but because I have made some great friends. As a member of Delta Sigma Pi you must participate in a certain number of events a semester. These events include social, fundraising, professional, and community service. I am able to be around friends at each of these events and always have a great time. Outside of that I really enjoy studying on campus in the library. While that might not seem fun I find it very satisfying to study on campus because I focus better and tend to get more done!

I am proud to be a Cougar because of the diversity! I think it is amazing that the University of Houston is home to so many cultures, people, and experiences. I think that the diversity that UH brings makes me a better student and will therefore make me a better member of society. I am proud to be a Bauer student because of the competitiveness that it brings. When you walk into Melcher you can always feel that there is a sense of urgency. This constantly inspires me to be and do better!

Q. After I graduate, I hope to:

After I graduate I hope to work at PWC. I am really interested in Mergers and Acquisitions or being on an assurance team. I have had the pleasure to attend some events hosted by PWC and I love the culture and what the company represents. I am very interested in evaluating how much a company is worth and the attention to detail that requires. Each firm in the Big 4 offer something unique to the clients they take on, and PWC is known for its Financial Services. With that reputation and the company culture I couldn't want anything else!
