Bio

Elizabeth Berger is an assistant professor and the Director of Program in Entrepreneurial Finance at the Bauer College of Business. Most recently, she was an assistant professor of finance at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.

Professor Berger's research is in the area of empirical corporate finance with applications to financial institutions, entrepreneurship, product market competition, and labor economics. She currently studies the effects of financial institutions on labor market outcomes, stock price efficiency, and firm profitability and competition.

Professor Berger received her PhD in Finance from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and her BA and BFA in Economics and Vocal Performance from Tulane University.
